History - While in recent years Robotic mowers have gained in popularity, Husqvarna has recently celebrated their 25th anniversary of the revolutionary Automower®. Automower® Zone Control - Create both work area and temporary stay-out zones from the Automower Connect app without changing the installation. This allows the user to have more control to define different work areas and apply unique work schedules or cutting heights to each.

Automower® Connect - Download the app to your smartphone to easily send start, stop, and park commands and check or adjust settings. It will also show the user relevant information about the mower along with helpful tips and advice for example when it comes time to replace blades. Get detailed statistics regarding runtime, distances, charging time, performance alerts, and more.

GPS-assisted navigation (PATENTED) - The onboard GPS system creates a map of your lawn including where the boundary and guide wires are installed. It also registers which area of your lawn it has covered and adjusts the mowing pattern accordingly to ensure optimised coverage of the unmown area with a pleasing cutting result.

Weather timer - Adjusts the working time to the lawn’s rate of growth. The Automower® will maximise mowing time in periods of high grass growth. Late in the season or in dry conditions, the mower will spend less time mowing decreasing wear on the lawn and mower.

Systematic passage mowing - They deliver excellent cutting results in all areas, the robotic mower can be set to automatically switch the mowing pattern from random mode to systematic mode in narrow passages.

Husqvarna AIM Technology (Automower® Intelligent Mapping) - The Husqvarna AIM Technology uses an onboard GPS and sensors on your robotic mower to create a virtual map of the lawn as well as enabling a range of smart Automower® features. The virtual map is visible in the Connect app as well as the boundary and guide wires. You can utilise the app to create different work areas with different cutting heights and schedules. The Automower® can also be tracked in real time on the app.

Smart home integration - All Husqvarna Automower® models with cellular or WIFI connectivity are compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Home. This allows the user to execute commands such as stop, start, park, and get status updates from your mower by simply asking your voice assistant.

Theft protection - Pin code theft protection for high security. If the mower is lifted away a loud alarm will sound and can only be deactivated with the mower’s unique pin code. Products equipped with GPS tracking immediately begin tracking GPS position and send notifications to your devices to minimise the risk of theft.

Easy cleaning - You can wash the exterior and underneath of the robotic mower with a garden hose. By using the attached maintenance tool the cover can easily be removed for easy cleaning and reachability.

Frost guard - The robotic mower automatically interrupts the mowing schedule in frosty conditions helping to protect the lawn.

X-Line - The Husqvarna Automower® X-Line is the most fully-featured range for users who want a top-of-the-line robotic lawn mower. The package includes Automower® Connect with GPS theft tracking, GPS-assisted navigation, LED headlights, a front rubber bumper, and an X-Line body design.

Secondary area - You may need to split your lawn into separate areas because of buildings or other obstacles. The boundary wire can be set up to create an island around the secondary area. Once installed, you will need to physically move the mower between these two areas and the mower will mow for a selected period of time or until the battery is empty.

FOTA (Firmware Over The Air) - The possibility to perform firmware updates automatically, over the air via the Automower® Connect app to enable new features and updates and Husqvarna’s technology and development are constantly evolving.

Rewilding mode - Designed to let nature back into your garden, when activated, the mower automatically allocates 10% of your lawn to a rewilding zone. It will leave this area untouched for as long as you want for the user to reshape, rescale or move the rewilding zone entirely.

GeoFence - By defining the GeoFence area for your mower on the Automower® Connect app, you will receive notifications to your phone if the mower is moved outside the predefined area.

Electric height adjustment - PATENTED – The cutting height of the Automower® is powered electrically and can be quickly adjusted via the Connect app or from the main menu.

Automatic passage handling (PATENTED) - The Automower® will sense narrow passages and navigate its way through. It will vary its route through the passage to avoid leaving wheel tracks.

Balance control - To ensure silent and trouble-free operation the Automower® sensor detects imbalance in the cutting system caused by damaged or accidentally double-mounted blades.

Spiral cutting - Automatic cutting function to level grass height differences. The cutting disc sensors detect when the mower enters areas with longer grass and changes the cutting to a systematic spiral pattern.

Spot cutting mode - A mode to quickly mow a limited area of longer grass. Especially useful for areas beneath garden furniture and other obstacles when moved. Simply place the mower in the desired area and choose spot-cutting mode. The mower will resume cutting in tight spirals and when finished resume automatic mode.

3X Remote start points - A uniform cutting result is achieved thanks to the possibility to begin cutting at three different remote locations along the guide wire. This feature is especially important in larger lawn areas.

Cutting system - Unique to the Automower®, it is equipped with 3 pivoting razor blades manufactured from strong carbon steel and mounted on a robust cutting disc. It is designed to cut a little, but frequently, providing efficient operation and very low energy consumption. The sharp blade cuts cleanly through the grass promoting a healthier lawn when compared to the duller action of heavy bar blades on petrol machines.

Silent - Thanks to the unique cutting system the mower works discreetly, quietly, and just when you want, even at night.

40% Slope capable - The large coarse-tread wheels provide excellent traction even if the surface is slippery. The mower will handle a slope angle of 40% going places many other petrol-powered options won’t.

Charging station - Flexible placement of charging station in your garden area simplifying installation as long as there is an outdoor 230V nearby.

Scheduling - You set the frequency of the mowing cycle around the clock and seven days a week.

Lift and tilt sensors - Should the Automower be lifted off the ground or tips over, the cutting automatically shuts off. In addition, the blade system is rotating far from the outer edge of the machine. If it meets an obstacle, it will stop and redirect itself without causing any damage.

Automatic charging - When the Automower® batteries need charging, it finds its own way back to the charging station either by the guide wire or perimeter wire.

Weatherproof - Rated to IPX4 Automower® can be outside around the clock and is designed to function properly and unattended regardless of the weather. Built to withstand the harsh NZ climate without issue.

Front bumper - Rubber front bumper makes the mower more resistant to recurrent collisions with trees, shrubs, and other objects within the lawn area.

Profile - With personal names on each profile and installation it is easy to switch between different setups if sharing the mower over more than one location or operating more than one machine.
