Ziggy Classic Nomad Portable Grill

This BBQ has been designed to cater to caravans, motor homes, and boats. The already popular Ziggy portable is now fitted with a flame supervision device for safe usage.

Caravan or boat - New Zealand safety standards have recently changed requiring any gas bbq connected to the gas supply of a boat or caravan to have flame supervision. (refer to AS/NZS 5601.2 and AS/NZS 5263.1.7)

Flame supervision (flame out) - Sometimes when using a gas cooker, the flame can go out due to an unstable gas supply, spilled liquid or windy conditions. This installed device means the gas supply will be shut off should the flame stop. For one this means less wastage but crucially safer operation avoiding dangerous build-up of flammable gas.

Connections - Comes with standard LPG gas bottle connection but adapter hose to caravan or boat gas supply available and priced separately.

Lift, pull and clean - Ziggy is an easy to clean bbq, it is as simple as removing the hotplates, tugging the burner away from the frame and wipe down to clean.

Powerful burner - The little Ziggy boasts a powerful single burner and innovative design making it such a popular seller. Entertain guests at your outdoor area or taking the beach or favourite picnic spot.

Unique hood design - The high-domed, roll-back hood is unique to Ziegler and Brown. It can be used open or closed for versatility when you are cooking or grilling. Prepare a roast dish for dinner or just fry up those bacon and eggs for breakfast.

Storage - For transport or storage, the hood rolls right back underneath the BBQ. The cooking grill and hood lock into place for easy lifting and making it extremely portable. Handy for camping and caravan trips where there is a premium on space.

Roasting hood - Features a cool to touch handle and temperature gauge to get the BBQ to your optimum temperature

Hood finish - Exterior is finished with a high temperature resistant glass coating, easy to keep clean with a quick wipe over!

Rear vent - Heat and smoke are dissipated through a rear-facing vent adding safety, comfort, and less cleaning required

Drip cup - Removable drip cup for gathering fat and easy cleaning

Flame tamer - All Ziggy grills include a ‘flame tamer’ which act to stop oil and fat falling directly onto the burners avoiding flare-ups.

Cooking grills - Manufactured from matt vitreous enamelled cast iron. Retains heat effectively, rust protected and fits into your dishwasher for easy clean up.

Range of uses - The little Ziggy can be used stand-alone on a table or with the optional stand. Range of accessories include trivet kit, full cast hotplate, roast dishes and covers.
