History - While in recent years Robotic mowers have gained in popularity, Husqvarna have recently celebrated their 25th anniversary of the revolutionary Automower®. Fast-forward to 2019, they reached the two million milestone mark in the manufacturing of robotic mowers. You can purchase with confidence from a well-established company that knows the product.

Automower® Connect - Download the app to your smartphone to easily send start, stop, park commands and check or adjust settings. It will also show the user relevant information about the mower along with helpful tips and advice for example when it comes time to replace blades. Get detailed statistics regarding runtime, distances, charging time, performance alerts and more.

GPS assisted navigation (PATENTED) - The onboard GPS system creates a map of your lawn including where the boundary and guide wires are installed. It also registers which area of your lawn it has covered and adjusts the mowing pattern accordingly to ensure optimised coverage of unmown area with a pleasing cutting result.

Cutting system - Unique to the Automower®, it is equipped with 3 pivoting razor blades manufactured from strong carbon steel and mounted on a robust cutting disc. It is designed to cut a little, but frequently, providing efficient operation and very low energy consumption. The sharp blade cuts cleanly through the grass promoting a healthier lawn when compared to the duller action of heavy bar blades on petrol machines.

Silent - Thanks to the unique cutting system the mower works discreetly, quietly and just when you want, even at night.

Weather timer - Adjusts the working time to the lawn’s rate of growth. The Automower® will maximise mowing time in periods of high grass growth. Late in the season or in dry conditions, the mower will spend less time mowing decreasing wear on the lawn and mower.

Automatic passage handling (PATENTED) - The Automower® will sense narrow passages and navigate its way through. It will vary its route through the passage to avoid leaving wheel tracks.

Guide wire (PATENTED) - The Husqvarna guide wire assists the mower back to the charging station which reduces the search time especially in complex gardens.

40% Slope capable - The large coarse-tread wheels provide excellent traction even if the surface is slippery. The mower will handle a slope angle of 40% going places many other petrol-powered options won’t.

3X Remote start points - A uniform cutting result is achieved thanks to the possibility to begin cutting at three different remote locations along the guide wire. This feature is especially important on larger lawn areas.

Graphic display - High resolution display with clear and intuitive menu structure easy to use. Self-explaining set-up for convenient programming of individual settings.

Charging station - Flexible placement of charging station in your garden area simplifying installation as long as there is an outdoor 230V nearby.

Balance control - To ensure silent and trouble-free operation the Automower® sensor detects imbalance in the cutting system caused by damaged or double mounted blades.

Spiral cutting - Automatic cutting function to level grass height differences. The cutting disc sensors detect when the mower enters areas with longer grass and changes cutting to a systematic spiral pattern.

Scheduling - You set the frequency of the mowing cycle around the clock and seven days a week.

Theft protection - Pin code theft protection for high security. If the mower is lifted away a loud alarm will sound and can only be deactivated with the mower’s unique pin code. Automower Connect®/Husqvarna Fleet Services™ enabled mowers also immediately begin tracking GPS position and send notifications to your devices to minimise the risk of theft.

Lift and tilt sensors - Should the Automower be lifted off the ground or tips over, the cutting automatically shuts off. In addition, the blade system is rotating far from the outer edge of the machine. If it meets an obstacle, it will stop and redirect itself without causing any damage.

Automatic charging - When the Automower® batteries need charging, it finds its own way back to the charging station either by the guide wire or perimeter wire.

Spot cutting mode - A mode to quickly mow a limited area of longer grass. Especially useful for areas beneath garden furniture and other obstacles when moved. Simply place the mower in the desired area and choose spot cutting mode. The mower will resume cutting in tight spirals and when finished resume automatic mode.

Weatherproof - Rated to IPX4 Automower® can be outside around the clock and is designed to function properly and unattended regardless of the weather. Built to withstand the harsh NZ climate without issue.

Front bumper - Rubber front bumper makes the mower more resistant to recurrent collisions with trees, shrubs and other objects within the lawn area.

Top cover - Make your Automower® by changing the colour of the top cover. Available in polar white, Husqvarna orange or standard white. Priced separately.

Profile - With personal names on each profile and installation it is easy to switch between different setups if sharing the mower over more than one location or operating more than one machine.

Low energy consumption - Efficient energy management means low energy consumption allowing the mower to operate at a fraction of the cost compared to conventional lawn mowers.

Superior interaction - Compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Home. From the comfort of your home, you can give your smart speaker a command and the 315X will respond to the task. You can execute the most common commands such as start, stop park and get status updates by simply asking your voice assistant.

LED headlights - Energy efficient front lights for greater visibility and control even in the dark. The lights will flash if a malfunction was to occur.
