The 410XE NERA from Husqvarna is a robotic mower designed for lawns up to 1,000 m². It has been designed to minimise the need to trim the lawn edges with the EdgeCut feature.

History - While in recent years Robotic mowers have gained in popularity, Husqvarna has recently celebrated its 25th anniversary of the revolutionary Automower®. Fast-forward to 2019, and they reached the two million milestone mark in the manufacturing of robotic mowers. EdgeCut - The need to trim the lawn edges is minimised saving time and effort. There is a dedicated secondary rear EdgeCut disc that can cut so close to the edges that only a minimal portion of grass is left uncut.

Wire-free installation - The included EPOS™ GPS kit allows wireless installation, offering the freedom of completely customisable lawn maintenance, through creating virtual boundaries with satellite-based technology instead of physical wires.

Object detection and avoidance - The built-in sensors assist the mower to detect and avoid objects, reducing the risk of unplanned stoppages. The detection mode reduces the speed and makes for softer collisions, and the avoidance mode causes the mower to turn away to avoid impact.

Automower® Zone Control - Allows the user to easily create work areas with different settings and temporary stay-out zones. You can apply different schedules and cuttings heights to each area or prevent the mower from mowing in selected areas.

Automower® Connect app - Mow from your phone, simply download the app to your smartphone to easily send start, stop, and park commands and check or adjust settings. It will also show the user relevant information about the mower, along with helpful tips and advice for example, when it comes time to replace blades. Get detailed statistics regarding runtime, distances, charging time, performance alerts, and more.

Electric height adjustment – PATENTED - Electric cutting height adjustment makes it convenient to set the desired height via the app remotely.

GPS-assisted navigation (PATENTED) - The onboard GPS creates a map of your lawn, including where the boundary and guide wires are installed. It also registers which area of your lawn it has covered and adjusts the mowing pattern accordingly to ensure optimised coverage of unmown areas with a pleasing cutting result.

Smart Home integration - Compatible with Amazon Alexa, Google Home, and IFTTT for convenient voice control and status updates.

GPS theft tracking - Equipped with GPS for tracking the mower’s current position and minimises the risk of theft. With GeoFence, when the mower is moved outside the predefined area, you will be notified in the app and the mower alarm will sound.

Automower® Access - Smooth user interaction with a high-resolution colour display on the robot with jog wheel and status indicators. Integrates intuitively with the Automower® Connect app for a seamless user experience.

FOTA - Firmware-Over-The-Air to easily make software updates through the App to enable new features or updates when available.

Automatic passage handling (PATENTED) - The Automower® will sense narrow passages and navigate its way through. It will vary its route through the passage to avoid leaving wheel tracks.

Weather timer - Adjusts the working time to the lawn’s rate of growth. The Automower® will maximise mowing time in periods of high grass growth. Late in the season or in dry conditions, the mower will spend less time mowing decreasing wear on the lawn and mower.

Spiral cutting - Automatic cutting function to level grass height differences. The cutting disc sensors detect when the mower enters areas with longer grass and changes the cutting to a systematic spiral pattern. This is especially useful for areas like beneath garden furniture if it needs to be moved.

Profiles - Create several profiles with individual settings making it easier to share the mower between numerous locations. This makes it easy to switch between different setups via the menu on the mower.

Cleaning - Easily wash the exterior and base of the mower with a garden hose. Removable top cover for further easy access.

Secondary area - If your lawn has two areas that are not connected with a passage for your mower, e.g., the front and back lawn, a secondary area can be created within your installation. When installed, you will need to manually move the mower between these two areas, and the mower will mow for a selected time or until the battery is empty.

Systematic passage mowing - The lawn mower can be set to automatically switch the mowing pattern from random mode to systematic mode in narrow passages. This reduces the number of turns and bumps that would normally occur in narrow passages minimising the risk of wheel tracks and lawn damage.

TargetHeight - For improved lawn quality, TargetHeight lowers the cutting height automatically from MAX to a predefined height over a 10-day period.
